Help your neighbors in need. Unemployment and unexpected expenses are just some of the many reasons why families fall behind on their energy bills. You can help these families when you contribute to RECare.
RECare is a crisis fund to help members in need pay their electric bills. When you give to RECare, your donation goes directly to families in need in our community. All funds are distributed by a local community action agency, there are no administrative costs. Your contributions are also tax deductible.
How you can contribute to RECare:
1. Round Up - round up your monthly bill from Linn County REC to the nearest dollar amount and donate to this fund
2. One time pledge included with the net amount on your bill statement.
3. Monthly pledge included with the net amount on your bill statement.
