Smart Plugs
Installing Smart Plugs can help you save on your electric usage, especially during the On-Peak rate. They allow items (such as dehumidifiers, portable AC/heater, small appliances, and electronics) to be scheduled to turn on and off at times you set. By scheduling items to turn off between 4pm and 10pm, it will help conserve energy when electricity is the most expensive. This saves you money and helps you and Linn County REC beat the peak.

- Offer is $10 per smart plug, rebate cannot exceed more than 50% of the total cost. (Example: if the individual smart plug purchased is $12, then the rebate amount would be $6. If the smart plug comes in a 4-pack for $25 and all smart plug are being utilized, the rebate would be $12.50).
